A constant in our ever changing world

How fortunate we are to have something as constant, solid and sure as The Word of God, to help us through difficult times.
Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.
Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect:The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Psalm 33:4 For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
Knowing we have this incredible resource we must use it, as God intended, both to reassure ourselves and to help others who are struggling.
James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Luke 11:28 He replied,“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
Matthew 7:24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Heavenly Father, Please take away any doubts and fears in our lives, remind us to turn to Your Word and to stand on every promise of Your Word every day. Amen
