Who We Are

Sunday Services

We hold a morning service at 10.30am. All are welcome.

What to expect
On a Sunday morning, if you come by car, you can park in our car park at the back of Church, we have two spaces for blue badge holders. You can expect to be greeted by a friendly face at the front door. The service is led either by a Methodist Minister, or an accredited Methodist Local Preacher. From time to time members of the church may also lead. It will usually include a time of sung worship with a live worship team,  readings from the Bible, and a short talk seeking to link what the Bible says with our own daily lives. Once a month our service also includes sharing in Holy Communion. The dates for this vary but can be found in Newmount News.  All who love the Lord are welcome to share in the bread and wine, there is no requirement to be a member of the Methodist Church. We pray for the needs of the world and our local community, and love to pray individually with all who ask us to. We usually take up a collection of money, but there is no obligation to give to this.

Children are always welcome; they are an important part of the church family. For younger visitors we have a small area with some quiet toys and books at the back of church. For older children, we have fun activities at Sunday Club in another part of our building, led by our children's and families worker. Children can stay with other members of the family in church. After the morning service there is always time for tea, coffee and a chat.

Baptisms usually take place during a Sunday morning service. These must be arranged in advance with our Minister.
