Over 60’s Lunch Club

The lunch club is provided by Littleover Live at Home Scheme for anyone over the age of 60 who still lives in their own home. It aims to provide support and friendship in an informal setting whilst providing a nutritional two course meal

At our weekly lunch clubs, members get picked up from home by mini-bus and taken to one of our clubs. They enjoy a cooked lunch, followed by entertainment, before they are returned home safely.

We are always looking for more volunteers to drive, help cook and serve meals, wash up, and visit our members at home. If you would like to volunteer for Live at Home, we would be very pleased to hear from you - please telephone the Scheme Manager on 01332 736409.

We meet every Wednesday lunchtime 12.00noon -2.00pm.

Community Outreach

We want to show our love and commitment to our neighbours by sharing God’s love in our local area.

A small group of us take items and information out to the local community, often when we are celebrating important dates in the Church calendar. This has included Hot Cross Buns and olive wood crosses for Easter, chocolate at Christmas and vegetable bags for Harvest. We also distributed knitted angels in December 2018. We’re are a chatty bunch and love to talk to anyone about anything!! If you see us, please stop (or pop in) and say hello.
