Faith, Hope and Love

1 Corinthians 13:11-13
When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all those of a child; now that I am an adult, I have no more use for childish ways. What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror; then we shall see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial; then it will be complete—as complete as God’s knowledge of me.

Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.

Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these is Love. These words are invariably used on wedding occasions but if you think about them they are applicable in so many situations. Possibly the world needs them now more than any other time.

Faith - Whatever man has said in the past there is more and more need for something beyond His understanding. God has given the world the opportunity to experience their pain but also God’s pain in His Son.

Hope - In difficult situations, if nothing more, all  have to hang on to the HOPE that it will come to an end.

We surely must pray that man has learnt lessons, maybe patience, kindness, being selfless or conceited and proud etc. (Read 1 Corinthians 13 v 4-7).

A Prayer for Love
Father God you have given us Jesus so many years ago, yet He is still relevant today. He gave His life because of his Love for the world.
Amen
