Sharing Our Faith Together

Go Out Into The World

by Jane Smith 22 April 2021

Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 4:2

As lockdown is eased and more of the things we used to take for granted are available to us again, we are beginning to 'get out there' and widen our world. Whether this is returning to church, getting a hair cut, meeting up with friends and family or going to the gym, many of us will be meeting up with more people (socially distanced, of course!!) than we have done for a long time.

In each of the Gospels Jesus instructs the disciples to go out and preach the Good News (Mark 16:15), He sends them out into the world (John 20:21) to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) and to preach in His name to all nations (Luke 24:47).

As we venture further, cross paths with more people and have more opportunities, let us strive to make the most of the increased freedom to spread the Word of God and the love of Jesus as He would want us to do as His disciples.

Let Us Pray
Eternal God, make us into disciples of your Word. Help us to be instruments of teaching and praise for you and to not miss the opportunities You put before us. We want to make a difference in spreading Your kingdom. Amen
