The Creator’s Symphony

Although I am not an enthusiastic walker, in the past year I have enjoyed rediscovering some of the local tracks and footpaths. Living in a small village, walking for just a few minutes takes you to the middle of a field or a waterside path!
I almost always walk alone and have learned to value the sense of peace that brings. My walks have become precious times for thinking, reflection and prayer, but that doesn’t mean they are always quiet experiences. The natural sounds of the wind in the trees, the trickle of a stream, and cheery birdsong combine in perfect balance with the man-made sounds - the crunch of gravel underfoot, the sounds of farming or a distant freight train to create something different each time. It always gives the feeling of being surrounded by God's richest blessings, a reminder of His immeasurable love. Matt Redman expresses the feeling beautifully in his song, The Father's Song - “Heaven’s perfect melody, the Creator’s symphony. You are singing over me, the Father’s song”.
You may like to listen to this version twice. First, close your eyes and focus on the song words. The second time, read the bible verses which appear on the screen as the music plays.

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is with you…
He will take great delight in you; he will quiet you with his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.”
