Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and shield, in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults and with my song I give thanks to Him.

The Lord Our Shepherd

The Lord, my Lord, our Lord

The shepherd, my shepherd, our shepherd.

You are my everything, our everything.

You give me rest and refreshment.

You give me strength

You guide me in your paths.

You fulfil your promises.

Even in dark times, you comfort.

You take away fear.

You protect me like a shepherd protects his flock.

You give me many blessings.

Your arms are always outstretched.

You will always love me

Now and eternally.

There are a lot of promises in the words of Psalm 23. The words remind us of the height, length, breadth and width of God’s love and guidance in our lives. Our God is always there, He is faithful. He never leaves us. He is always by our side. All we have to do is trust in Him and Him alone.

Let us pray the words from Philippian’s 4:6-7.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking Him with a thankful heart. And Gods peace which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in union with Christ Jesus.

Amen
