Psalm 93 - The Majesty of God
The Lord is king. He is clothed with majesty.
The Lord is clothed in majesty
and armed with strength.

The world is set,
and it cannot be moved.
Lord, your kingdom was set up long ago.
You are everlasting.

Lord, the seas rise up.
The seas raise their voice.
The seas lift up their pounding waves.

The sound of the water is loud.
The ocean waves are powerful.
But the Lord above is much greater.

Lord, your laws will stand forever.
Your Temple will be holy forevermore.

When I first listened to the video below, I was unsure that the scenes portrayed what I was thinking about the majesty of God.

Then I felt God speak to me.

How awesome that the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, came down to earth for us. He came to earth as one of us, to save us, so that we could be with Him now and for eternity. The comparison of the images we hold in our minds of the majesty of God against the songwriter walking on the earth are stark.

Hebrews 1:3
He reflects the brightness of God’s glory and is the exact likeness of God’s own being, sustaining the universe with his powerful word. After achieving forgiveness for the sins of all human beings, he sat down in heaven at the right side of God, the Supreme Power.

Let us pray
Your majesty, I can but bow,
I lay my all before you now.
Your royal robes I don’t deserve
I live to serve your majesty.
Amen
